Manual station preset
Use this feature to store the desired FM and AM stations
to the preset station memory manually.
1
Tune into the desired FM/AM station.
See page 19 for tuning instructions.

Press
MEMORY
on the front panel (or
remote control).
The preset station number flashes in the front panel
display for 5 seconds.

Rotate
PRESET/TUNING
on the front panel
(or press the
numeric buttons
on the
remote control) to select the desired preset
station number while the preset station
number flashes.
Perform the next operation within 5 seconds after selecting
the preset station number. If you do not press
MEMORY
within 5 seconds, the preset is canceled.

Press
MEMORY
on the front panel (or
remote control) again to confirm the preset.
• Any stored station data existing under a preset station number is
cleared when you store a new station under the same preset
station number.
• The reception mode (stereo or monaural) is stored along with
the station frequency.

Clearing the preset station

Select the desired preset station number.
Refer to “Tuning into the preset stations” on page 23
for details.

Press
CLEAR
on the remote control.
The selected preset station number flashes in the front
panel display.
Perform the next operation within 5 seconds after pressing
CLEAR
. If you do not press
CLEAR
within 5 seconds, the
clearing is canceled.

Press
CLEAR
to confirm.
“Preset 1 clear” appears in the front panel display.
