Always set the volume control to “– 

” before starting the

audio source play:  increase the volume gradually to an
appropriate level after the play is started.

To prevent lightning damage, pull out the power cord and
remove the antenna cable during an electrical storm.

Be sure to read the “Troubleshooting” section on
common operating errors before concluding that your unit
is faulty.

Do not connect audio equipment to the AC outlets on the
rear panel if that equipment requires more power than the
outlets are rated to provide.
