Test Function and Judgment criteria
Connect the level meter (with a JIS-C filter) to each terminal (PHONES, OUTPUT L/L+R, R, AUX OUT L, R).
Check that the sine wave note is output of 1 kHz. (PAN=R)
Set the [MASTER VOLUME] at MAX and check the R channel output level.
(PHONES L, R: 33 ohms load OUTPUT L/L+R, R: 10 kohms load AUX OUT L, R: 10 kohms load)
PHONES L: less than -30.0 dBm
PHONES R: -3.4 dBm +/-2 dB (PSR-1100), 0 dBm +/-2 dB (PSR-2100)
OUTPUT L/L+R: less than -50.0 dBm OUTPUT R: +5.7 dBm +/- 2 dB
AUX OUT L: less than -60.0 dBm
AUX OUT R: -0.3 dBm +/- 2 dB

Checks D/A converter noise.
Connect the level meter (with a JIS-C filter) to each terminal (PHONES, OUTPUT L/L+R, R, AUX OUT L, R),
and press the key on the keyboard.
Set the [MASTER VOLUME] at MAX and check the noise level. (PHONES L, R: 33 ohms load OUTPUT L/
L+R, R: 10 kohms load AUX OUT L, R: 10 kohms load)
PHONES L, R: less than -75.0 dBm
OUTPUT L/L+R, R: less than -70.0 dBm
AUX OUT L, R: less than -70.0 dBm
Check the switches on the panel and LED.
Press the switches on the LCD as instructed. A pre-assigned note is output when the switch is pressed. (See table
1). When the switch with LED is pressed, that LED will light up.
Next, check the dial. Displays “Dial Down 50”, and then turn the data dial counterclockwise. Displays “Dial UP
49”, and then turn the data dial clockwise. Check that the LCD displays “SW, LED Check OK”.
If you wish to cancel the check in progress press the lowest (leftmost) white key on the keyboard to return to the
selection screen.
Check that all panel LEDs are on. (Except for the [MIC. OVER] and [MIC. SIGNAL] LEDs of PSR-2100)
The 2-colors LED light up in orange.
Check that all red LEDs are on. (Except for the [MIC. OVER] and [MIC. SIGNAL] LEDs of PSR-2100)
The 2-colors LED light up in red.
Check that all green LEDs are on. (Except for the [MIC. OVER] and [MIC. SIGNAL] LEDs of PSR-2100)
The 2-colors LED light up in green.
Check that all LCD dots are on. (The whole screen becomes blue.)
Check that all LCD dots are off. (The whole screen becomes white.)
Press the [1] to [4] switches of [ONE TOUCH SETTING] in order. The brightness of the LCD grows lighter
every time a switch is pressed. (but OTS 2 = OTS 4)
Connect the foot switch (FC4/FC5) to the [FOOT PEDAL 1] jack.
Check that the C3 note is output when pressing the pedal, and that the C4 note is output when releasing the pedal.
Check the LCD “Pedal 1 Check OK”
Connect the foot controller (FC7) to the [FOOT PEDAL 2] jack.
Check that the C3 note is output when fully pressing the pedal to the back (to minimum), and that the C4 note is
output when fully pressing the pedal to the front (to maximum). Check the LCD “Pedal 2 Check OK”
Checks the pitch bend wheel.
First, it is checked that the [PITCH BEND] wheel is a center position.
Check that the C3 note is output when rotating the [PITCH BEND] wheel to minimum from center, and that the
C4 note is output when rotating it to maximum. Check the LCD “Pitch Bend Wheel Check OK”
Checks the modulation wheel.
First, it is checked that the [MODULATION] wheel is a center position.
Check that the C3 note is output when rotating the [MODULATION] wheel to minimum from center, and that the
C4 note is output when rotating it to maximum.
After connecting the [MIDI IN] jack and [MIDI OUT] jack with a MIDI cable, execute the test.
Check that the C4 note is output and that the LCD displays “MIDI Check OK”. If there is no input after one
second since signal output, it is judged NG.
After connecting the [USB] jack and PC (personal computer) with a USB cable, execute the test.
Check that the C4 note is output and that the LCD displays “OK”.
Note: In advance, install a USB-MIDI driver in PC. Be a through set up.
