Check that the keyboard works normally.
Compare the Key ON data from the EBUS controller with
Key No. on the LCD.
When the key is ON, velocity value in the received data will
be shown.
Check that After Touch works normally.
Compare the After Touch data from the EBUS controller
with the target value on the LCD.
Note: AT Offset test is executed on MOTIF XS8 only.
[Test method]
Plays each key in the order of scale.
Apply After Touch according to an LCD display as follows "
then release (127 to 0) smoothly.

Press the key that is shown on the LCD ON.
When the key is ON, the Velocity at the instant of ON is shown,
TONE (1KHz) will be played and the test for the next key will
be selected. The sound played is a sine wave almost as loud as
the sound for 1kHz sound check.
If an unexpected code is sent (wrong key is pressed), NG will
be shown and no sound will be played.
Then, if a correct code is received (correct key is pressed), the
test for the next key will be selected.
If all the keys are normal, OK will be indicated.
[Check item]
Check that all the keys are normal.
Check that After Touch value changes smoothly as you press
down a key and that judgment is OK. Next to the After Touch
judgment, an Offset voltage will be displayed.
Note: AT Offset test is executed on MOTIF XS8 only.
Permissible Offset voltage range should be 1.098 v to 2.695 v
and in case the value is out of the range, current value of the
After Touch will be
fi xed to 0.
