Operate the [MASTER VOLUME] to check that volume
from the [OUTPUT R] is changed smoothly.
(Play the sine wave of the Wave ROM from the Slave side
SWP51 (DM: IC011) to output from the speci
fi ed output jack.)
[Test method]
Connect measuring instruments to each of the [OUTPUT
L/MONO], [OUTPUT R], [ASSIGNABLE OUTPUT L,
R] and [PHONES (L), (R)] jacks. Check frequency, output
waveform, output level of each output with a frequency counter,
oscilloscope and level meter (with a JIS-C
fi lter).
Set the [MASTER VOLUME] to the maximum.
The LCD displays as follows when a sound is output.

Unplug the [OUTPUT R] and check if
a sine wave of -1.0 ±2 dBu (10 kohm
load) is output from the [OUTPUT
L/MONO] side.
[ASSIGNABLE OUTPUT L]:
-85.0 dBu or less (10 kohm load)
[ASSIGNABLE OUTPUT R]:
1 KHz±1.5 Hz, Sine wave, +4.0±2 dBu
(10 kohm load) (Distortion factor of
0.1 % or less)
[PHONES(L)]: -70.0 dBu or less (33 ohm load)
[PHONES(R)]: 1 KHz±1.5 Hz, Sine wave, -2.0±2 dBu
(33 ohm load) (Distortion factor of
0.1 % or less)
[DIGITAL OUT(R)]: Output sound from a powered monitor
speaker with digital input and check that
sine wave without distortion is output. The
checking is not necessary if the result of
[DIGITAL OUT(L)] jack test is normal.

[How to quit test]
• MANUAL MODE:
Press the [EXIT] button to quit the test and the same screen as
the
[First indication]
will appear indicating that a condition
waiting for a test number is selected.
• MIDI MODE:
Send a test code for another test to complete the current test
and the test for the newly sent test code will be executed.

[Test contents]
Check the signal path from A/D input to D/A output. (Default Gain
setting is MIC)
The input from the ADC is routed through the SWP51 (Master
side (DM: IC010)) to be output from the DAC. AD Gain is
set to MIC via CPU.
[Test method]
Input sine waves into the [A/D INPUT L] jack in the order of
1 kHz ±5 Hz, -52.0 dBu ±0 dBu (Distortion factor of 0.1 % or
less) and check that the output of the following level is output
from the [OUTPUT L/MONO, R] jack.
