The watertight compartment is located under
the rear seat.
To open the watertight compartment:
(1) Remove the rear seat. (See page 28 for

rear seat removal and installation proce-
dures.)

(2) Turn the cap counterclockwise.

To close the watertight compartment:
(1) Turn the cap clockwise until it stops.
(2) Install the rear seat.
