CHECKING THE WATER PUMP

1. Check:

water pump housing

impeller

rubber damper

rubber damper holder

water pump seal

oil seal
Cracks/damage/wear

→

Replace.

4. Remove:

water pump seal

NOTE:

Remove the water pump seal from the inside of
the water pump housing.

2. Check:

bearing
Rough movement

→

Replace.

2. Remove:

plate

NOTE:

Slide the plate as shown, and then remove the
plate from the water pump housing.
