STEERING CABLE INSPECTION

Be sure to check:

1. Check for smooth operation of the

wheel and steering nozzle.

2. Check for proper steering adjust-

ment. The nozzle should point
straight back when the steering
wheel is centered.

If steering is stiff or misadjusted, ask
your Yamaha dealer to service it.

THROTTLE CABLE INSPECTION 

Push and pull the throttle lever through
its full range with the shift lever in
Neutral. Repeat with the shift lever in
Forward, and again in Reverse. The
throttle lever should move smoothly
from idle to full throttle and back. If not,
ask your Yamaha Jet Boat dealer for
service.
