First Steps
1.
Open the packages to reveal their contents.
• DTX502 Dr u m Trigger Mod u le
• Rack (i.e., RS502)
• Pad set (i.e., DTP522, DTP532, DTP542, or DTP562)
2.
Assemble the parts
• Assem b le the rack.

Refer to the O w ner’s Man u al that came w ith yo u r rack (i.e.,
RS502).
• Mo u nt the pads and the DTX502 mod u le on the rack.

Refer to the Assem b ly Man u al that came w ith yo u r pad set.
3.
Make the required connections.
• Connect the pads and the DTX502 u sing the ca b le pro v ided.

Refer to the Assem b ly Man u al that came w ith yo u r pad set.
• Connect the po w er adaptor to the DTX502 mod u le and t u rn on
the mod u le.


4.
Complete the initial setup process.
• See Initial Set u p on page 13.
5.
Play your electronic drum kit.
• Basic techniq u es u sed w hen operating and playing the elec-
tronic dr u m kit are descri b ed in the Basic Techniq u es section
