COOLANT REPLACEMENT

toward the detent. This allows any residual
pressure to escape. When the hissing soound
has stopped, press down on the cap while
turning counterclockwise and remove it.

NOTE:

Position the scooter straight up when replacing
the coolant.

2.Place the scooter on a level surface.

NOTE:

Place the scooter on its centerstand if.

3.Remove:
• Water pump fixing bold

Drain the radiator and engine of its coolant.

4.Install:
• Gasket
• Water pump fixing bold.

Water pump fixing bold:

7 Nm (0.7 m.kg)

5.Fill:
• Cooling system (radiator, engine and hoses)
(to specified level)

Recommended coolant:

High quality ethylene glycol
antifreeze containing corrosion
inhibitors for aluminum engines.

Radiator capacity
(including all routes):

1.2 L (1.05 Imp qt, 1.27 US qt)

From lower to upper level:

0.15 L (0.13 Imp qt, 0.16 US qt)
