ADJUSTING THE REAR BRAKE LEVER

Refer to “SEAT, SIDE COVERS AND
FOOTREST BOARDS”.

4. Install:

•

seat

•

right side cover

•

right footboard

3. Adjust:

•

rear brake lever free play

a. Loosen the locknut

b. Turn the adjuster

in or out until the

specified rear brake lever free play is
obtained.

c. Tighten the locknuts.

Second step:

Direction

Free play is increased.

Direction

Free play is decreased.

Direction

Free play is increased.

Direction

Free play is decreased.

First step:

a. Loosen the locknut

b. Turn the adjuster

in or out until the

specified rear brake lever free play is
obtained.

c. Tighten the locknuts.

If the free play cannot be adjusted here, adjust
it at the throttle lever side of the cable.
