7.7 Taking Care of Your Yakumo alpha GPS
Taking good care of your Yakumo alpha GPS will ensure trouble-free operation
and reduce the risk of damage to your Yakumo alpha GPS.
NOTE: Display errors (e.g. pixel errors etc.) resulting from
high temperature variations (e.g. when storing the device at
very high or low temperatures in a car, etc.) are excluded
from the warranty. In such a case, the PDA may only be
repaired subject to charge.
General Information
Do not expose your Yakumo alpha GPS to high humidity or very high or cold
temperatures.
Do not expose your Yakumo alpha GPS to direct sun or strong UV light.
Do not place any objects on the Yakumo alpha GPS and avoid foreign
objects dropping onto the Yakumo alpha GPS.
Do not drop the Yakumo alpha GPS and do not expose it to vibrations or
shock.
Store your Yakumo alpha GPS in a protective cover when not in use.
Do not subject your Yakumo alpha GPS to sudden and severe temperature
changes. This could cause moisture condensation inside the unit that could
damage your Yakumo alpha GPS. In the event of moisture condensation,
allow your Yakumo alpha GPS to dry out completely.
Take care not to sit on your Yakumo alpha GPS when it is located in the back
pocket of trousers, etc.
Do not carry your Yakumo alpha GPS with a card inserted. This can result in
the damage or loss of the card.
The screen surface is easily scratched. Use only the stylus to tap on the
screen. Avoid touching it with your fingers, pens, pencils or any other sharp
objects.
