UNCLASP THE PIN
and remove it
from the hitch
(if it is installed).
The nut on the
socket must be
pointing down.
REMOVE THE INSTALLED HITCH.

• Remove the screw
with a screwdriver
and a wrench.
ATTACH THE NEW HITCH ASSEMBLY.
• Insert new hitch hardware as shown.
• Tighten with screwdriver and wrench.
• Carefully set aside the
assembly parts.

ATTACH HITCH TO THE SIDE OF THE BIKE
WITHOUT THE DRIVE-TRAIN (GEARS).
TURN THE SOCKET TO A SHARP
ANGLE, LANYARD FACING OUT:
• Make sure the hitch socket is
free of debris.
• The ball on the end of the
skewer must nest completely
inside the hitch.
