CONNECTING THE TRAILER TO THE VEHICLE
1. EasyRider works with Class I, II, or III hitches with
a size 2" hitch ball installed on the vehicle.
2. Using the handle, lift the coupler onto the ball.
3. The latch should engage around the hitch ball.
4. If the latch doesn’t fully engage, you may need to
loosen the adjustment nut. It is located underneath
latch facing the ground.
5. A small amount of play is good, but tighten the nut to
remove excess play if necessary.
6. The coupler latch mechanism must be securely locked
with your safety pin or padlock inserted.
7. Connect the safety chains to the hitch. The chains
should crisscross each other and have slack, but not
touch the ground.
8. Connect wiring harness and check the lights.
PRO TIP
- Twist the chains if they are too long to
avoid dragging them on the ground.
The top of the ball should be 16"
(40cm) off the ground so your trailer
tongue is parallel to the ground.
