Temperature Display
The
VXA-200
can measure the current temperature.
r
To display the current
temperature, press [
F
]

Pressing the [

temperatue unit between
“Celsius: °C” and “Fahrenheit: °F.”

Press the
PTT
switch to return to the normal
operation.
If the temperature display is incorrectly, correcting
the thermometer of the
VXA-200
. See page 22 for
details.
LOCK Function
The lock function prevents accidental changes to the
frequency setting and the keypad controls.
r
To activate the lock
feature, press [
F
]
à
[ ( )].
r
In the LOCK mode,
the display will show
“
" LOCK"
” when
y o u r o t a t e t h e
CHANNEL
selector knob, press the
CHANNEL
selector knob, or touch a key on the keypad.
r
To turn the lock feature off,
press [
F
]
à
[
( )] again.
r
You can still access the 121.500 MHz Emergency
Frequency when the LOCK function is on.
Simply press the [
121.5
] key momentarily (this
key never locks). Pressing this key also unlocks
the radio.
