Using the APRS set-up menu

Data transmission delay timeis set and the display returns to the previous screen.
Setting the display units of the APRS data
This sets the units for the latitude / longitude (POSITION), distance (DISTANCE), speed
(SPEED), altitude (ALTITUDE), atmospheric pressure (BARO), temperature (TEMP),
rainfall (RAIN) and wind (WIND).

The set-up menu will be displayed.

Turn the DIAL, select
[10 APRS]
, then press

The menu list will be displayed.

Turn the DIAL, select
[11 APRS UNITS]
, then press
.
The unit setting screen for the APRS display will be
displayed.

Turn the DIAL and select
[1 POSITION]
.

and select the unit to be displayed.
The display unit for the latitude / longitude minute
and below (DD°MM.MM’) can be changed.
Press to switch between dd°mm.mm' and dd°mm'ss''.
dd°mm.mm': displays in 1/100 minute format.
dd°mm'ss'': displays in minute and second format.
Tip
Factory default value: dd°mm.mm'

[2 DISTANCE]

and select the unit of distance.
You can change the unit of distance.
Pressing switches between kilometers and
miles.

Press to switch between km/h, mph, and
knots.
