The AMS (Automatic Mode Select) feature automatically selects the analog FM and
C4FM digital modes, according to the signal of the other station.

The DG-ID (Digital Group ID) feature (page 28), and the Group Monitor (GM) feature
enable automatically locating, and communicating with other stations within contact
range, that have the matching DG-ID number, (Group ID number from 00 to 99).
