PLL C ON TROL SE C T ION
The o pti c al c oupling s y s tem utilize s two photo -inte r rupter s Q2 and
Q3 , ( P S -4 0 01) to ge ne r ate two signal output s whi ch a r e a ppli ed to
a PLL counte r unit . The s ignal a pplied to CK te rminal is fed

The signal applied to U /D te rminal i s inve rted by a unit of Q71 0
and contr o l s the up-down c ounte r . The output from Q7 07 -Q7 0 9
i s f e d t o a 4 bit data s ele cto r, Q7 01 - Q7 0 3 ( MC14 51B) and Quad
latch , Q7 04 -Q7 0 6 , ( M C14 042B) , whi c h a r e u s ed fo r m emo ry
whe n the MEMORY switch i s pre s s ed .
The output from Q7 01 -Q7 0 3 i s fed to a pro grammable divide r ,
