1 GANG LEADED MULTI-FUNCTION SWITCH
RECEIVER
Installation & Operating Instructions
Various electric loads such as lamp bulbs, HV halogen lamps, electronic
ballast devices and inductive loads can be switched with output 1
v
of the
receiver. The receiver is operated with Echo transmitters (radio signal).
Before use, the transmitters must be assigned to the receiver (max. 32
receivers). Every transmitter can control an unlimited number of
receivers.
SAFETY:
CAUTION! 230V, Danger of electrical shock!
Always
disconnect the electricity supply before commencing work on
the installation.
The device should be installed by a competent person or a qualified
electrician in accordance with the device’s installation instructions and
the appropriate current national wiring regulations.
It is essential that all connections are made as instructed, that cables are
not stressed and that terminals are fully tightened.
Screwless terminals must not have more than one cable inserted into
each terminal.
The mains supply to this product must be protected by an appropriate
fuse or MCB.

INSTALLATION:
General Information
• NEVER install Echo receivers in a metal enclosure or in the
immediate vicinity of large metal objects.
• Installation close to floor level or on the floor is not recommended.
Installation
Important:
This device should be installed into a flush mounted
installation box.
The receiver’s housing design also makes it ideally suitable for
installation in a false ceiling. This is accomplished by using the
mounting hole in the middle of the housing.
Caution!
All Echo transmitters to be used should be assigned and
programmed with the desired function prior to final installation of this
receiver in a false ceiling.
• Install receiver in a suitable position.
• Protect power supply line with an automatic circuit breaker (max 16A)
• Install connection cables.
Commissioning
• Switch on power supply after installation.
•
Program the receiver
RF RANGE:
The strength of the radio signal between the transmitter and switching
receiver weakens as distance increases. The range can be further
reduced by different materials or interference sources in the propagation
direction of the radio waves. The range can be increased by the use of
Echo Repeaters (radio amplifiers).
