5. Propeller Servicing

Tools Needed:

•  2 mm Allen key

•  Small Phillips or Cross head screwdriver

1.  Disconnect thruster from the rQPOD to ensure no power is being supplied. Remove the 3 screws that hold the 

main body of the thruster to the Kurt nozzle cowling. Gently pull the assembly apart.

2.  Remove the 2 Allen screws using a 2 mm hex driver and remove the impeller. Ensure that there is no debris in the 

back part of the assembly and also under the stator. Replace the impeller with a new one if needed, ensuring that 
the new one has the same rotation. Replace all screws. Do not overtighten.
