Several default values are assumed by the driver. These values may be
changed from their default by specifying additional command line options.
The default values and their associated command line options are described
below:
Default: SCSI disconnect option enabled
Specify /c to disable this option
Default: SCSI parity option disabled
Specify /y- to enable this option
Default: SCSI synchronous negotiation option enabled
Specify /u- to disable this option
Default: SCSI target number 7
Specify /hx to change this value, where "x"
is the desired target number from 0 through
7 inclusive.
Default: AT interrupt level = 11
Specify /qx to change this value, where "x"
is the desired interrupt level and must be
one of the following: 09, 10, 11, or 12. The
interrupt level switches described, at the end
of the chapter, must be set to match the level
chosen by this option.
Default: AT I/O address range = 340h-35fh
Specify /p140 to select I/O range = 140h-
15fh. The I/O base address switch, de-
scribed in Appendix A, must match this se-
lection, even if it is the default value.
Default:
Minimal messages displayed during drive installation
Specify /d to display useful debugging in-
formation during installation.
