Antenna installation
The CFK-fuselage shields the rc-radio. So it is indispensable to install the rx-antenne outside from the
fuse! To do so you can drill a small hole into the fuse and glue an antenna tube or the antenna itself
into the hole.
Retrofitting and assembling of the rear mechanics
Remove the rear fin. The two short screws hast o be replaced by M3x8. Thereby please use one flat
washer outside and two between fin and tail gear.
Assembling of the tail gear: fix the tail rotor control arm with cylinder head screw M3x24 and the rear
fin with the aluminium bush with cylinder head screw M3x18. Please ensure that you fix both screws
with thread lock and screw them firmly.
Put on the front hood
Pull the front hood similar to the original TDR front hood over the front area and over the wobble plate.
Thereby it is helpfully when the wobble plate is completely at the bottom (complete negative pitch) and
the linkage rod is behind and in front of the main shaft and not on the side.
During the last centimeters you should first insert the lower bolt into the corresponding borehole of the
fuselage and then put the upper end of the hood to the fuselage. Finally insert the upper bolts.
Through to the magnets the hood downright clicks onto the fuselage.
It may happen that at an extremely pitch angle generate vibrations which can loosen the hood.
Therefore I recommend to fix the hood on the upper side with a 3 cm long adhesive tape.
Operation
Its highly recommended to check the mounting screws after every flight. If they are tight after the first
flights you can tape the mounting holes with the supplied round stickers.
Since the fuselage can not replace the tail support completely please avoid hectically maneuvers in
flight like pitch pumps. In extreme cases this could bend the tail boom which leads to an unbalanced
running torque tube. This in turn causes strong vibrations which can lead up to destruction of the
fuselage in the air. This scenario has been activated during the test phase by very high rpm and
extreme pitch pumps.
