OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE

POCKET CUTTING:

Set the depth adjustment scale (17) to the desired cutting depth, re-tighten and plug

the tool back in. With the saw blade barely above the material to be cut, power up the saw and allow the tool

to reach full speed. Gradually lower the blade onto the material to be cut using the front end as a pivot point.

Once the blade begins to cut, release the lower guard (11) using the lower guard lever (5). When the base

plate (1) is resting flat on the surface on the surface being cut, proceed to stop in a forward direction for the

length of the cut.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

WARNING!

Always make sure that the Circular Saw is unplugged from the outlet before making adjustments

or performing maintenance to the tool.

To clean the Circular Saw effectively, it is recommended use compressed air. If unavailable, use a brush to

remove dust and chips from the Saw.

IMPORTANT:

Make sure to clean the ventilation outlets regularly so as to prevent the Saw from overheating.

CAUTION:

Never use any caustic agents such as gasoline, carbon brush, chlorinated cleaning solvents,

ammonia and household cleaners containing ammonia - to clean the body of the tool.  Always check the tool

for damage or wear before each use. In particular, inspect the Saw Blade for wear and clean the exterior body

of the tool with a soft damp cloth using mild detergent to remove dust. Always store in a dry, frost-free place

away from children.
