5.2 Logfile
Certain logfile entries are system entries and as such beyond the control of the user. Other messages are
optional and must be defined with CamControl LITE or CamControl PRO software with menu Extras in Site
archive. In the table below these messages are marked yes in column Optional. Critical messages are
indirectly connected to the error relay and marked yes in column Error relay.
Column Logfile entry provides the text messages and optional additional information indicated by square
brackets. Additional information date and time apply to all entries. Therefore each Logfile entry starts with
[D&T]. For all other additional information, letters (e.g. [x]) are used, which are explained in column
Description.

settings menu feature or by accident in evaluation
PC, by deletion or modification, requiring

[x] Device switched on / restarted. Field [x] indicates
CamDisc HNVR firmware version number. no no
[D&T], Power off The device was switched off. This entry is not
written to the file until the device is switched on

[D&T], Logfile
cleared, [x], [y] Logfile was deleted by feature Delete logfile in
menu settings Site archive. Field [x] displays
name of registered user, field [y] displays order of
login (0=first, 1=second, etc.) no no
[D&T], Setup
changed, [x], [y] Device configuration was changed, or menu
settings was closed by OK and not by Cancel.

[D&T], Files
renamed, [x], [y] File names on a storage medium from another
device were renamed. The previous serial
number [x] can be used to determine in which
device the storage medium was used. [y] is the
serial number of the new device, responsible for

[D&T], Set clock Time for CamDisc HNVR was reset. no no
[D&T], Update, [x],
[y] CamDisc HNVR was updated with new
firmware. The old version number is displayed in
field [x], the new version number in field [y]. no no
[D&T], Track, [x],
deleted, [y] Camera track [x] was deleted. Field [y] indicates
whether this camera track has been divided into
partitions for continuous and/or event triggered
recording. no no
[D&T], Password
disabled The reset pushbutton on the front deletes all user
names and passwords. no no
