6. FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
GUIDE BAR
The guide bar (

) is used to correctly guide the saw chain in a straight direction.
SAW CHAIN
The saw chain (

) is a tool fitted with cutting teeth and rotates fast along the guide bar (

) resulting
in cutting/dividing wooden material.
CHAIN GUARD
The guide bar (

) fitted with a chain (

) is protected from the top side by a special cover (

), which
significantly eliminates the risk of kickback in case of careless handling of the device and thus,
significantly increases the machine’s overall safety.
LOCKING LEVER
The locking lever (

) is intended for easy assembly/disassembly of the sprocket cover (

) and to
ensure access to the sprocket area due to maintenance, cleaning or adjustment of the device.
DEPTH STOP
The depth stop surface (

) represents the maximum cut that the device is able to achieve.
SPROCKET COVER
The sprocket and tensioning part of the chain are protected by a cover (

) in order to avoid
unwanted clogging of this space with sawdust and other debris.
GRIP SURFACE
The main handle (

) as well as the grip surface (

) on the top of the device are used to hold the
device firmly. A firmer and safer grip is achieved and the risk of kickback is effectively greatly
reduced.
MAIN SWITCH / LOCK BUTTON
Not only the main switch (

) is used to start the device itself, but also the side safety button (

which thus fulfills the function of a safety fuse and prevents unintentional start-up.
HANDLE
The main handle (

) serves to hold the device firmly
and securely. Rubber-coated, ergonomic elements
increase overall comfort and safety during handling.
GUIDE BAR COVER
The protective guide bar cover (

and bar during transport and storage of the device.
CHAIN ADJUSTING SCREW

adjustment of the chain tension.
VENTILATION SLOTS
The ventilation slots (
