Storage Mode Definition
Independent mode ( JBOD ) : Four discrete storage capacities.
Speed mode ( Raid 0 ) : One big independent data storage with without data protection.

The secondary FireWire 800 (1394b) connection on the XL-RAID-4300ESFU is provided to connect and
extend to another FireWire 800 (1394b) device.
