Fixing the grinding machine
Note:
The material required for attaching the grinding machine is not included in the scope of delivery.
Contact your dealer for the appropriate fastening material.
The bench grinder should be screwed onto a stable surface for safe use. To do this, use the four holes
on the device feet
(9).
We recommend that you attach the grinder bracket to the corner of a workbench.
When choosing the location, make sure that there is enough space around the grinding machine so that
you can work on it unhindered.
Note:
The four rubber feet underneath the device feet can remain on the bench grinder to reduce noise.
1.
First place the bench grinder in the intended place and mark the drill holes on the workbench
with a pen through the pre-drilled holes on the device base
(9).
2.
Put the machine aside and drill the four holes with a suitable drill.
3.
Put the grinding machine back in the right place and secure it with the appropriate screws and
washers (see Fig.
3).

Connecting to the power supply
1.
Insert the mains plug into a properly installed socket.
2.
Before use, check that the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage specified on the nameplate.
Also check that the power plug matches the socket.
3.
The bench grinder must be earthed. Therefore, only connect the power plug to earthed sockets.
4.
If the power cord or its plug is damaged, the cord must be repaired by an electrician to prevent
accidents.
5.
When the device is not in use, before maintaining the device and when replacing accessories
(e.g., blades, attachments, and mills), pull the power plug out of the socket.
Grinding wheels
General remarks
1.
Only use grinding wheels that comply with the information provided by the manufacturer on the
type of fastening, dimensions, and permissible speed.
2.
Note that the maximum speed of the grinding wheels must be higher than the maximum speed
of the power tool.
3.
Store grinding wheels in a dry place and at a constant temperature.
4.
Make sure that the grinding wheel is of the right size (see section “Technical specifications”).
