Error
Cause
Solution
The pump does
not start or the
pump suddenly
stops during op-
eration.
Interruption/failure of the power
supply
Check fuse and electrical connections; switch on
external power supply.
Defective power line or plug
Contact your dealer/service partner.
Mechanical seal sucked in
If the pump is idle for a longer period, switch off the
pump and pull out the mains plug; otherwise, the
mechanical seal can be damaged.
Let the pump cool down and turn the pump shaft at
the end with a flat-blade screwdriver. When the
shaft turns again, switch the pump on again.
Shutdown by pressure switch
due to pressure in the pipeline
Open water tap; then the pressure switch turns on
again automatically after the pressure has dropped.
Water tap too high for pressure
value of pressure switch
If necessary, change the pressure set-point of the
pressure switch.
Other error
Have the pump checked by a specialist.
Insufficient/non-
existent flow rate
(or self-priming
error)
Reduced pump suction power
due to dirty water or waste water
with particles
Clean filter screen, replace damaged parts (e.g.,
worn impeller).
Clogged hose/line/filter screen
Remove the blockage from the line, clean the filter
screen.
Damaged hose/line system
Replace line.
The water inlet is too soft. As a
result, the water inlet cannot
draw in water due to the reduc-
tion in suction power during
pump operation.
Replace the threaded anti-vacuum hose or pres-
sure-proof rigid tube.
Air inside the pump head, pump is
not completely filled with water.
Fill the pump head with water.
Water inlet not deep enough in
the water
Check whether there is enough water; then im-
merse the water inlet more than 10
cm deep in the
water.
Loose suction line seal
Replace the seal and ensure that it is completely
tight.
The pump is
switched off after
a short time
Power interruption through over-
heating protection because of
severe clogging of the pipeline or
pump
Remove blockages; switch on the pump and fill in
the water when it has cooled down completely.
Power interruption by overheat-
ing protection due to excessive
ambient or water temperature
Ensure that the water and ambient temperature is
below 35
℃
; then switch on and let the water to be
pumped.
Power interruption by pressure
switch due to the pressure in the
pipeline
Open water tap; then the pressure switch starts
again automatically after the pressure has been
lowered.
Blockage due to damaged impel-
ler
Have the device checked by a specialist.
