Batteries in the remote control
•
Remove old batteries as leakage may damage the remote control.
•
In case of battery leakage use a cloth to remove the battery fluid be careful to avoid skin contact.
•
In case the battery’s contents are ingested, drink water to dilute the battery material and seek im-
mediate medical attention.
•
If the eyes or skin come into contact with these substances immediately flush with water
and seek immediate medical attention.
•
Keep batteries and remote control away from children.
Service and Repair
•
Never perform repairs and installations yourself. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
•
Contact the repair service if the following errors occur:
•
a. If the power cord or power supply unit is defective.
•
b. If objects have fallen into the device.
•
c. If exposed to water or other liquids.
•
d. If it does not operate normally when you follow the operating instructions.
•
e. If the device has been dropped or exhibits strong fluctuations in performance.
•
Exposure to tobacco smoke may damage the device electronics. The warranty does not cov-
er damage caused by tobacco smoke.
•
Use original spare parts only. Incorrect or defective spare parts can cause damage, incorrect
functioning or complete failure, as well as affecting the safety.
Recycling of electronic devices
This product is designed and manufactured with high quality materials and components
which can be recycled and reused. This symbol means that electrical and electronic
equipment, at their end-of-life, should be disposed of separately from your household
waste. Please, dispose of this equipment at your local community waste collection/
recycling centre. In the European Union there are separate collection systems for used
electrical and electronic products.
Batteries
This symbol on the battery or on the packaging indicates that
the battery provided with this product shall not be treated as
household waste. On certain batteries this symbol might be used
in combination with a chemical symbol. The chemical symbol
for lead (Pb) is added if the battery contains more than 0.004 %
lead. Hand the battery over to the appropriate collection point for
the recycling of waste batteries.
