Search mode
You can choose between Standard, Blind and Network.
•
Standard: Deposes a transponder list to every satellite. Searching is done on the basics of
this list.
•
Blind: Allows to search in all frequencies, independent from the transponder list.
•
Network: Includes information like Name, Type of transmission system as well as technical
data e.g. frequency and fault protection.
Recommendation: Standard
Encrypted
Choose if you want to search only for free programs or include the encrypted programs in the search.
Encrypted programs need special “Smartcards” and a reading device. Der HRS 8500 and FTE (free
to air) device therefore it has no card reader.
Recommendation: Free programs
Service Type
Choose if you want to search for TV, Radio or all programs. If you never use the radio you can
choose the option TV.
Note:
1.
Usually the standard-option is adequate. However, there are changes in the
transponder list. If a program can not be found, change to the blind-option.
2.
It is not possible to watch encrypted programs with the HRS 8500. For a better
overview only use the only-free-programs-option.
After setting all parameters press
OK
for starting
the search. The received programs are shown in
the according lists and are saved when the
search is finished.
