2.2 Hardware description
In this section, different hardware components of the XOLTA outdoor BESS are described. Figure 2.1 presents
the schematic drawing of the XOLTA outdoor BESS.
Each rack (battery cabinet) of the XOLTA outdoor BESS consists of eight serially connected battery packs
(as seen in Figure 2.1. All battery cells are protected by Lithium Balance’s n-BMS.
