Aim the Antenna

For best reception, your XM antenna should have a clear view of the southern sky .

Your Xpress can help you aim the antenna for best reception . This feature is especially

helpful if you plan to use your Xpress indoors .

To aim the antenna:

, and press the dial . The Satellite bar measures

the signal strength of the live XM satellites . The Terrestrial bar measures

the signal strength of the ground repeaters .
Slowly move the antenna around until either the Satellite or Terrestrial bar

is filled in as much as possible . The

sign indicates a strong signal .

The

sign indicates a weak signal .
