Design Flow Steps
shows the main CAN FD customization screen, which is used to set the
component name and core options, described in the following sections.

Component Name
– The component name is the base name of the output files
generated for this core.
IMPORTANT:
The name must begin with a letter and be composed of the following characters: a to z,
A to Z, 0 to 9, and "_."

Processor Interface
– This parameter determines if the AXI4-Lite or APB interface is
used to communicate with processor.
•
TX Buffers
– This parameter decides the number of TX buffers to be present in the
current IP instance. Valid values are 8, 16, and 32.
•
RX Mode
– This parameter decides the message reception mode used in the current IP
instance. Valid values are as follows:
