Status
The printer status can be monitored using the Bi-Directional Communication Window,
displayed by selecting the [Printer Status] button on the [Paper/Output] tab. For details
on the Bi-Directional Communication functions, refer to the PostScript driver online
Help.
When the Bi-Directional Communication function is setup, the
icon is displayed
beside the image of the machine on the [Paper/Output] tab. For instructions on how to
setup Bi-Directional Communication, refer to
Bi-Directional Communication Setup on
page 41.
Image Options Tab Settings
This section describes the Image Options tab.
NOTE: You can restore defaults by clicking [Defaults].
Settings
Image Quality - Specifies the printing output priority.
High Speed - Speed is given priority over image quality.
Standard - Printing occurs with full image quality.
Brightness - Adjusts the level of brightness applied to the printed images.
