Status Indicator RAPs

09-800 Incompatible Toner Cartridge Fault

The Toner Cartridge is not compatible with the printer.

BSD-Reference:

None

Procedure

1.

Press the Information button on the Control Panel, then select the menu items listed
below to print the Supplies Information Report.

•

WorkCentre 3215: [Info Pages, Supplies Info].

•

WorkCentre 3225: [Machine Status, Info Pages, Supplies Info].

2.

Check the toner cartridge information. Replace the Toner Cartridge if is not a genuine
Xerox® cartridge.

09-900 Imaging Unit is Incompatible/Undetected Fault 

One of the following conditions exists:

•

The Imaging Unit has not been installed

•

The Imaging Unit is incompatible

•

The maching software is unable to detect the Imaging Unit

Initial Actions

Switch Off the power then switch On the power.

Procedure

WARNING

Do not perform repair activities with the power on or electrical power supplied to the
machine. The machine could activate and cause serious personal injury when the power
is on or electrical power is supplied.

Check that the Imaging Unit (Drum Caratridge) is compatible with the printer.

Press the Information button on the Control Panel, then select the menu items listed
below to print the Supplies Information Report.

Check the Imaging Unit information. 

The Imaging Unit is compatible with the printer.

Check the Imaging Unit (Drum Cartridge) CRUM is fully seated. The Imaging Unit connec-
tion is OK.

Firmly reseat the imaging Unit (Drum Cartridge).
