Repairs

Remove the Document Feed Roll Assembly (

Figure 2

Remove the E-Rings (3).

Slide the drive shaft out of the Feed Roll Assembly.

Figure 2 Feed Roll E-rings

Replacement

Install the components in the reverse of removal.

NOTE: Install the E-rings in the following order:

The E-ring by the gear.

The E-ring (center) by the Spring.

The E-ring at the end of the shaft.

Switch Off the Printer and unplug the Power Cord.

Remove the ADF (

Remove the ADF Rear Cover (

On the underside of the ADF, remove the Rear Cover screws (3).

Lift the Top of the cover away from the ADF, then pull the bottom away to release the
latches.
