Adjusting Front Panel Sound Level
The front panel emits a sound to prompt you to view a message displayed at the front panel.
For example, the front panel may prompt you to verify that the paper loaded in a paper tray is
correct. To change the sound level emitted by the front panel:
1.
At the printer’s front panel, select
Printer Setup
, then press the OK button.

Select
Front Panel Setup
, then press the OK button.
3.
Select
Front Panel Sound
, then press the OK button.
4.
Press the Down Arrow or Up Arrow button to increase or decrease the sound level. The
sound values range from
0
(none) to
4
(loudest).
5.
Press the OK button to save your selection.
Adjusting Printer Language
To change the language used for the text on the front panel, CentreWare IS, and some
information pages:
1.
At the printer’s front panel, select
Printer Setup
, then press the OK button.
2.
Select
Front Panel Setup
, then press the OK button.
3.
Select
Front Panel Language
, then press the OK button.
4.
Select the desired language, then press the OK button.
