Setting Up Client PC

Right-click Start , and select Explorer .

Open your network folder in the left column.

Click the shared name.

From the Start menu, select Settings and Printers .
(Windows 2000)
From the
Start menu, select Printers and Faxes .
(Windows XP)

Double-click your printer icon.

From the Printer menu, select Properties .

Press the Ports tab, and click Add Port .

Select Local Port , and click New Port .

Fill in the Enter a port name field, and enter the shared
name.

Click OK , and click Close .

Click Apply , and click OK .
