Description
Automatic Document Feeder
Up to 50 sheets of paper can be fed automatically with the optional
ADF. Originals should be in the paper weight range of 16 to 28 lb.
bond. Paper sizes accommodated by the ADF are:
Minimum: 5.5” x 8.5” (140 x 210 mm) or B5 paper
Maximum: 11” x 17” (297 x 420 mm) or A3 paper
The ADF occupies the same space as the edit pad. Therefore, on a
machine equipped with an ADF and an edit pad, a table or suitable
work surface must be provided next to the machine and the edit pad
moved “off-line”.
20-Bin Sorter

This 20-bin sorter has a maximum capacity of 50 sheets of paper per
bin. When operating the DocuColor 5799 in “non-sort” mode, the
top tray can accommodate up to 100 sheets of 16 to 28 lb. paper.
Paper sizes accommodated by the sorter are:
Minimum: 8.5” x 11“ (210 x 297 mm) or A4 paper
Maximum 11” x 17” (297 x 420 mm) or A3 paper
Edit Pad Kit
The Edit Pad Option Kit is available for customers who decide to
upgrade their machine with edit capability sometime after initial
purchase of a non-edit processor. If the machine is equipped with
an ADF, the edit pad kit can be enabled off-line. It will require that
the customer provide a table or suitable work surface adjacent to the
processor.
The Edit Pad Option Kit comes complete with 3 marker edit pens:
Green, Pink and Blue.
Film Projector Option

The Film Projector Option is available in 120 volt and 220 - 240 volt
configurations. The film projector is packaged with all accessories
necessary for operation of the film projector.
Left Work Surface

In those situations where the customer chooses neither the sorter
nor the film projector, there is a Processor Left Wing available as a
kit option. This provides additional workspace for the customer.
Foreign Interface Kit
The Foreign Interface Kit enables the connection of external devices
such as auditrons to the DocuColor 5799. This Foreign Interface Kit
is not intended to support the use of external billing devices such as
coin-operated vending and debit-card devices.
