Scanning
Scanning to a Network File Repository
Scanning to a network file repository is a feature of Network Scanning. Documents you scan are sent to a document
repository on a network server configured by your system administrator. A template, also created by the system
administrator, defines the scan settings and the destination of the scanned image.
Note:
Scanning to a network file repository must be configured by your system administrator.

Templates must be created using CentreWare Internet Services. For details, see the System Administrator Guide.
To use the scan to a network file repository feature:
Load the original on the document glass or in the document feeder. 1.
On the control panel, press the Services Home button. 2.
Touch Network Scanning . 3.
Touch the desired template. 4.
To override the template scan settings: 5.
Press the green Start button. 6.
For scanning options, use the four menus at the bottom of the touch screen: Color Scanning , 2-Sided
Scanning , Original Type and Scan Presets . For details, see Setting Scan Options .
