The following procedure reflects Red Hat Linux version 8.0

Select

System Settings

Printing.

Click

New

to setup a new LPR/LPD printer.

The Add A New Print Queue dialog box appears.

Click

Forward

The Set the Print Queue Name and Type dialog box appears.

In the

Queue Name

box, type a name for the printer that you will be

able to identify on your computer—for example,

OPAL3_LPR

Click

Forward

The Configure a Unix Print Queue dialog box appears.
