Insert a set of characters following other characters by entering:

x is the word preceding the text to be added.

y is the text to be added.

F [k]/

is the occurrence of string x in each line specified in the

MODIFY command that is affected by the F command.

defaults to 1 when not specified, while 0 indicates that all
occurrences of the first set of characters, or string

specified lines are affected.

Add a space between F and k in the command.

Modifying entire lines

To change entire lines, or records, or your JSL coding, you may
perform any of the following activities:

Move lines in a file by entering:
