Potential loss of
highlight regions
when scanning with
the “Fine Halftone”
Original Type
When scanning with the “Fine Halftone” Original Type and the “Optimize
Image For” control set to the “Generic write black” printer, highlight regions
with an area coverage of 10% to 20% may not be captured in the scanned
image. Setting the two left-most slider controls on the “Advanced Image
Quality” to “30” and “40”, respectively, will ensure these highlight regions
are properly retained.
