The guarantee is only valid if the device is regularly serviced and calibrated at an au -
thorised service centre at least once a year. The device has been correctly calibrated
since new. Every breathalyser offered on the market requires periodic calibration,
i.e. every 12 months (every 6 months is recommended), the device must be confi
gured so that it correctly interprets the amount of alcohol in the air exhaled. The
need for recalibration is not a defect in the device and is not subject to warranty. A
device that is not regularly calibrated will show erroneous results.
