QuarkXPress 4.X Page Setup (PC)
1. Create or open your document. Then, select File: Print. The
Print window appears.
2. Click the Setup tab. Then, select XANTÉ Colour ScreenWriter
in the Printer Description drop down menu.
3. Select the appropriate media size in the Paper Size drop down
menu.
4. Click the Output tab. Then, select the appropriate DPI in the
Resolution drop down menu.
5. Select the appropriate LPI in the Frequency drop down menu.
6. Click the Properties button and select other desired options.
See chapter 6, “Configuration,” for details on each option.
Then, click OK.
7. Print from QuarkXPress as you normally would.
QuarkXPress (Macintosh)
• QuarkXPress versions 3.X require a PDF (printer description
file) in addition to the PPD file. XANTÉ Utilities include a PDF
file in the App Drivers: QuarkXPress PDF folder. Use this PDF
to obtain the best quality from your XANTÉ printer.
• QuarkXPress Version 4.0 uses your printer’s PPD, rather than a
PDF.

1. Create or open your document. Then, select File: Page Setup.
The Page Setup dialog box appears.
