Analog connection
› Connect the jacks marked „CD/DVD“ or „AUX“ (depending on your amplifi er) found on the back
of your amplifi er to the respective jacks on your CD player. These are marked as „SIGNAL OUT-
PUT“ on the back of the device.
Digital connection
› You can digitally connect your amplifi er to your CD player via RCA cable or optical cable. Corres-
ponding outputs can be found on the device.
Connecting the device to a power supply
Before attempting to make connections, ensure that the CD-1200M is not connected to
an electrical power supply.
› After connections have been made, plug the amplifi er’s power plug into a power outlet
(AC 230 V~/50 Hz) of your public power system.

Check that all connections are secure and have been made properly, before turning the
device on for the fi rst time.
› Adjust the volume to a minimum.
› Turn the audio source on, for example your CD player.
› Select the desired audio source on your amplifi er (e.g. CD player).
› Adjust the volume control dial to the desired listening level after starting playback.
› Adjust the volume to a minimum again, before turning the device off .
