Connecting to power supply
For safety reasons, always pull on the plug’s grips and never on the cable to remove
from a wall outlet.
Make sure that the POWER button on your amplifi er is turned off (position OFF) and
the volume dial has been turned down to a minimum (turn to the left) before con-
necting the amplifi er to a power supply.
Plug your amplifi er’s power cable into a power outlet (230 V~/50 Hz) linked to a pu-
blic electric power system.

Connecting the remote control cable
If further components from the X4-TECH Hi-Fi 1000 Series have been connected to your ampli-
fi er you will be able to operate them with the system remote control as well.
The control jacks on the individual components have to be connected to the control jacks on
the amplifi er with a remote cable, in order for you to be able to remotely operate components.
Each individual component comes accompanied with a remote cable.
a) Connect the equalizer’s control jack with the control jack marked REMOTE SYSTEM EQ on the
back of the amplifi er.
b) Connect the tape deck’s control jack with the control jack marked REMOTE SYSTEM TAPE on
the back of the amplifi er.
c) Connect the tuner’s control jack with the control jack marked REMOTE SYSTEM TUNER on the
back of the amplifi er.
d) Connect the CD player‘s control jack with the control jack marked REMOTE SYSTEM CD on the
back of the amplifi er.
