Scan function
The walkie talkie continuously scans all of the 8 channels. If a
message is received, the search is stopped and the messages
or signals can be heard.
Press the
button 1x.
The display shows
SCAN
.
The walkie talkie now continuously scans all channels from 1
to 8 upwards. The channels are shown in the display.
To run the search in reverse, press the
button.
Press the
button again to end the search.
If the signal is no longer transmitted on the found channel, the
search will restart automatically.
If the
key is pressed while a found signal is being listened
to, the scan function is deactivated and the found channel is
automatically set as the new channel.

This function is intended to help you find the person you
are talking to if they are transmitting on other channels but do
not know it.
Respect the privacy of other people and do not listen to conver-
sations from other radios e.g. baby monitors.
Turn flashlight on/off
Press the
button once. Press the
button again to turn
off the flashlight.
