Never disconnect power from an AC-powered unit to stop a false alarm. Doing so will disable the unit
and remove your protection. To silence an alarm, open a nearby window or fan the smoke away from the
unit. The alarm will automatically reset when it returns to normal operation.
Improper wiring of the power connector will cause damage to the alarm and may lead to a
non-functioning alarm. Test the alarm to ensure proper installation.
Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
Increase the separation between the device and receiver.
Connect the device into an outlet on a circuit different from that of the receiver.
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio or TV technician for help.
