Creating New Connections

The

New Connection

dialog box is used to create new connections. Figure 21-1

shows the

New Connection

dialog box.

To invoke the dialog box:

Click on the

Configure

tab in the

Winterm Connection Manager

dialog box.

Click on

Add

command button on the

Configure

properties sheet.

Choosing a Connection Protocol

Use the scroll list shown in the dialog box above to select the type of connection
protocol you want. When you choose from the list above, you are deciding which
connection protocol you want use to connect to a server. Four selections are
available:
